Ayia Kyriaki Chrysopolitissa
Why not consider the lovely old church of Ayia Kyriaki Chrysopolitissa, Kato Paphos (the Church by St. Paul’s Pillar), situated in the grounds of an Early Christian Basilica, for the big day?
Most importantly this Church has easy access for wheelchairs and can easily accommodate large wedding parties up to and in excess of one hundred guests.

Chapel of St. George
Maybe you would wish to get married somewhere more modern, if so, why not think about the Chapel of St. George in the grounds of the St. George Hotel, Chlorakas?
Please note that this chapel has at least a dozen steps to negotiate and is not suitable for wheelchair access and it is not possible to use ramps. There is seating for twenty-four and the Chapel only comfortably accommodates a total of 36 persons (this number includes the primary wedding party).

If you are getting married in Ayia Kyriaki accompanying hymns and/or music is by arrangement with our Director of Music Malcolm Brinson, we can also provide a choir and soloist if required.
For those getting married at St. George's Chapel please note that music is normally by CD, if you wish Malcolm to play there is an extra charge and music will be played on an electronic keyboard.
Malcolm can be contacted through the Church Office.

For those getting married or considering getting married in the Anglican Church of Paphos, the following information may be helpful:
The fees for Weddings, Blessings and Reaffirmation of Vows in 2008 are CY£350.00 (€600). We would need a non-refundable deposit of £225 sterling, which can be paid by Sterling cheque from your current account, or by a Bank Draft for €300, in order to secure your booking on a permanent basis; please make all cheques/drafts payable to The Anglican Church of Paphos. When you send your deposit, please give full details of your postal address and all telephone numbers, fax or e-mail, so that we can keep in contact with you.
Please note that you will need to bring the following documents with you as determined by Cyprus Law:
1. Your Passports
2. Birth Certificates
3. Photocopies of your witnesses' passports (you require two witnesses) both for the Town Hall and ourselves.
4. An affidavit each, confirming that you are free to marry. A Solicitor or Commissioner of Oaths can draft this for you on letter headed notepaper, and it must be stamped and signed at the declaration.
5. If either of you have been divorced, then the original Decree Absolute papers will be needed by the Town Hall.
6. If either of you have become a widow(er), then the deceased Death Certificate will also be required.
7. If either of you have changed your name at any time, you will need Deed Poll papers.
You will be required to obtain a special licence, giving you permission to marry in Cyprus from Paphos Town Hall, which currently costs €285. You must be resident in Cyprus at least 3/4 working days before your wedding date. This should be done as soon as you arrive in Cyprus between 8.30 and 10.00a.m., and you must take all above mentioned documents with you.
Furthermore, please note that the Anglican Church prefers that at least one of you has been baptised into the Christian Faith, and would like you to bring the certificate(s) with you if you have them. We also require a photocopy of your Birth Certificates, and The Chaplain would wish to commend you to your home Church Priest or Minister back in the UK, so please bring his/her name and address with you.
